Bio:
Ethereal Forest came into existance in the summer of 2003, Azrael who was playing in UK Black Metal band Heathen Deity decided he wanted to try something different. Upon speaking to Sathan, also of Heathen Deity and Pantheon I, the band was born.
Combining their ideas together they managed to create a sound they were both content with. Drawing their influences from bands such as Storm, Isengard, viking/Celtic/folk and raw Black Metal, as well as their interest in history and mythical stories.
Sathan decided to change his name to his familiy name, Theobald.
Writing and recording of the first demo was completed at Mirkwood studios, England in one day in the winter of 2004. During the winter months of 2006 the demo was finally finished, simply titled "Ethereal Forest".
The demo lead to interest from underground labels and Ethereal Forest signed a deal with German label Darker Than Black Records in the summer of 2008.
The band are currently writing material for the debut album...
